Good Endings
Ending One – Good Default/ “Innocence”
In ending 1, Guys successfully proves his innocence, returns to his family and goes to start a new life in the countryside. He receives a letter from Lusca a few months later saying that Guildias has been convicted for the murder of Jared and Myuca’s body has been found. He also (presumably from the letter) discovers the particulars of his incarceration i.e. Guildias’ plan to frame him after Myuca called out to him on a street. How Myuca died is not specified in this ending but it can be surmised from the last Guildias sex scene that he was strangled to death. None of the other characters are mentioned in this ending (although Guys declares that he will never forget them) but it is the only one that deals with the fates of Myuca and Guildias.
Ending Two – Sad Lusca Ending
This ending results from making following Lusca’s path but choosing to go with Jose when he offers you the diary. Lusca will still come and visit Guys on Christmas Eve and bring him the scarf. However, on New Year’s Eve, Guys is asked to carry out rubbish and, upon seeing a ladder propped against the prison wall, attempts to escape in order to give Lusca the scarf and show him that there’s someone “waiting for him.” He gets shot down by a guard but Lusca picks him up and holds him as he dies. Afterward we see Lusca visiting Guys’ grave, promising to bring those responsible to justice and to meet Guys on the other side. This ending is an absolute tear-wrencher of epic proportions.
Ending Three – Shion Ending
Having proved his innocence, Guys leaves the prison and reunites with Shion once he is released. After training as a chef for a few months, Shion, with the help of Guys, opens a restaurant and invites all the other characters to the opening party. Guys voices his gratitude for the friends he made during the time in prison and the fact that he was able to introduce them to Shion, who is now out of his shell. In this ending, Evan, Vallewida, Io and Jose are all inexplicably released from prison and all working in their fairly ideal careers (Evan back being a journalist and working with Lusca, Vallewida being an artist, Jose a private detective and Io an apprentice to an organist.) so, in a sense, this is the game’s main “happy ending.”
Ending Four – Vallewida Ending
After winning the second trial, Guys remains dejected, remembering that Vallewida is imprisoned still. Lusca notices the crucifix Vallewida gave Guys and Guys accidentally breaks it while trying to get it out of his pocket. Inside he finds a concealed piece of paper which turns out to be a receipt for one of Bollanet’s shipments. He then helps Lusca prosecute Bollanet and Durer and thus free Evan and Vallewida using the receipt.
Guys later works in a grocery store in the town. Evan visits him to say that Vallewida has been released and he has gone off on a quest to find his family but will come to thank Guys after he is done. Guys has just given up expecting to see Vallewida when he bumps into him on the street. Unlike the endings with other characters, this one doesn’t really suggest a great deal of romance between Vallewida and Guys, more of a very close friendship. However the drama CDs really expand on this relationship so I would recommend listening to them if you’re a fan of this pairing.
Ending Five – Lusca Ending
In this ending, Guys goes to work with Lusca after he is released. Lusca tells him about Bollanet and the reason behind Evan’s imprisonment and the two work together to convict Bollanet after Guys tells Lusca about Belbet’s last words, which Lusca recognises as a clue to the location of Jake Darling’s body. They find the body in an abattoir and use the document inside the ribcage to convict Bollanet and Durer and thus release Evan. Later, Guys continues to live with Lusca, helping him with work and doing odd jobs around the house in exchange for food and board.
Ending Six – Jose Ending
In this ending Guys is released shortly after Jose and waits at the prison, expecting Jose to come and meet him. When Jose doesn’t show up, he walks to Jose’s house where he finds a party prepared for his arrival. Jose welcomes him and introduces him to his friends before suddenly kissing him. Jose then goes on to work as a private detective with Guys as his assistant.
Ending Seven – Evan Ending
After being released from prison, Guys goes back to say goodbye temporarily to Evan. Evan gives him an old book of Belbet’s and asks that he and Lusca hold a memorial service for him. When Guys tells this to Lusca, Lusca gets suspicious and after asking Guys about Belbet, Guys tells him Belbet’s last words. Then, as in the Lusca ending, Guys and Lusca work together, find Jake’s body and use the document in the pill case to convict Bollanet and Durer of smuggling and to exonerate Evan (and presumably Vallewida). Evan and Guys then work together as carpenters, while remaining in touch with Lusca.

Bad Endings
Ending Eight – Durer Ending/“Pet”
With Lusca not showing any interest in helping him, Guys’ own belief dwindling and Durer’s abuse growing worse, Guys eventually gives up all hope of release and resigns himself to becoming Durer’s sex toy for the rest of his life.
Ending Nine – “Execution” (after not getting Jared’s notebook)
After failing to get Jared’s notebook from Jose, progress on proving Guys’ innocence grinds to a halt. Guys loses hope and one winter evening, while putting out trash, he sees a ladder up against the prison wall and tries to make a break for it. He gets shot to death by the guards and dies in the snow, hallucinating about seeing his friends and family again.
Ending Ten version One – “Crippled”/Everyone Dies Ending
With Lusca still uninterested in the case and having made no progress himself, Guys’ morale lowers dangerously. After refusing an offer of wine from Durer, he eavesdrops on a conversation between Vallewida and Evan in the medical room. He hears them speak of a conspiracy concerning Bollanet, Guildias and Durer and they imply that Guys, like them is also a helpless victim of it. They discover Guys at the door but he runs off and sinks into depression and apathy, convinced he will never be released and Durer will simply kill him like the others involved in the conspiracy. He dies an unspecified amount of time later, at the hands of Durer while sitting over Vallewida’s body, Evan having been killed a long time earlier.
Ending Ten version Two – “Execution” (after the first trial)
This is very like ending 9 in set up but different in the small details and point at which it occurs in the story. Ending 10:2 takes place after the first trial if Guys leaves his cell. A guard will see him wondering around and ask him to help carry in smuggled goods from outside. While the Guard is distracted talking to the trader, Guys attempts to sneak out and escape somehow. He is shot by the guard and dies hallucinating about travelling in a foreign land.
Note: Both ending 10:1 and 10:2 are both simply called ending 10 in the game.

Walkthrough
Ending 1 - Innocence
By far the easiest ending to get. Just avoid following the steps to any other endings and don’t do any of the following:
Prepare the leather first
Open the envelope first (always leads to ending 10:2)
Go outside (unless you’re on Evan’s route)
Go with Jose
Example:
Don’t sit with Jose
Prepare the tools first
Pick the lower lot
Open the box first
Stay in your cell
Find Evan
Don’t go with Jose
Return to the workplace
Ending 2 – Bad Lusca Ending
This is just choosing “Go with Jose” on the Lusca route. The options you have to pick to get this are:
Sit with Jose
Prepare the tools first
Open the box first
Get some rest
Do as Lusca says
Conceal the handcuffs
Stay in your cell
“It’s nothing”
Go with Jose
Example:
Sit with Jose
(Stay and eat)
Prepare the tools first
Open the box first
Get some rest
Do as Lusca says
Conceal the handcuffs
Stay in your cell
“It’s nothing”
Find Evan
Go with Jose
Ending 3 – Shion Ending
This is only unlocked after getting ending 1. The Shion route can be mixed up with the Evan and Lusca routes in which case, instead of defaulting to ending 1 if you choose the wrong choice, you default to ending 3. The essential options for this ending are:
Sit with Jose
Find something else to do
Wash your clothes
Prepare the tools first
Open the box first
Stay in your cell
Pretend you didn’t notice
Don’t go with Jose
Go to the courtyard (if you’re on the Lusca/Shion route, otherwise this choice doesn’t matter)
Example:
Sit with Jose
Find something else to do
Wash your clothes
Prepare the tools first
Open the box first
Have fun
Stay in your cell
Pretend you didn’t notice
Find Evan
Don’t go with Jose
Return to the workplace
Ending 4 – Vallewida Ending
The essentials for this one are:
Don’t sit with Jose
Prepare the tools first
Pick the upper lot
Go right
Open the box first
Stay in your cell
Don’t go with Jose
Sit next to Vallewida
Example:
Don’t sit with Jose
Prepare the tools first
Pick the upper lot
Go right
Open the box first
Stay in your cell
Find Evan
Don’t go with Jose
Return to the workplace
Sit next to Vallewida
Ending 5 – Lusca Ending
This is a fairly specific ending with most choices having an impact. The essential ones though are:
Sit with Jose
Prepare the tools first
Open the box first
Get some rest
Do as Lusca says
Conceal the handcuffs
Stay in your cell
“It’s nothing”
Don’t go with Jose
Return to the workplace (even though you get all the Lusca romance scenes if you choose courtyard you still won’t get the ending)
Example:
Sit with Jose
Prepare the tools first
Open the box first
Get some rest
Do as Lusca says
Conceal the handcuffs
Stay in your cell
“It’s nothing”
Find Evan
Don’t go with Jose
Return to the workplace
Ending 6 – Jose Ending
This is the most specific path in the game. There may not be a lot of choices but all of them matter. It’s also a bit misleading because all the Jose sex scenes are viewable on other paths as are most of the romantic scenes such as when Jose gives Guys his address near the end of the game. An indication that you’re on the path to this ending is seeing some of Jose’s scenes earlier on, such as when he comes in to Guys’ cell to console him after the first trial. The only way to get this ending is:
Don’t sit with Jose
Prepare the tools first
Pick the upper lot
Go left
Open the box first
Stay in your cell
Wait in your cell
Bring Io to the medical room
Don’t go with Jose
Go to the courtyard
Ending 7 – Evan Ending
A fairly easy ending to get since there aren’t many choices. Evan and Lusca share the same path up to the smoke/don’t smoke choice. Smoking will set you on Evan’s path and not smoking will set you on the Lusca path. The choices you must pick to get this ending are:
Sit with Jose
Prepare the tools first
Get some rest
Have a smoke anyway
Go outside
Don’t go with Jose
Example:
Sit with Jose
Prepare the tools first
Get some rest
Have a smoke anyway
Go outside
Find Evan
Don’t go with Jose
Return to the workplace
Ending 8 – Durer’s Ending/“Pet”
The first of four bad endings. The path to it is fairly short and the only essential choices are:
Prepare the leather
Drink the wine
Example:
Don’t sit with Jose
Prepare the leather
Drink the wine
Ending 9 - “Execution”
The 2nd most common bad ending. The only essential option is:
Go with Jose (on any route other than Lusca’s)
Example:
Don’t sit with Jose
(Stay and eat)
Prepare the tools first
Open the box first
Have fun
Stay in your cell
Find Evan
Go with Jose
Ending 10:1 – “Crippled”
This is just choosing “Don’t drink the wine” on Durer’s route/the route to ending 8 so the only essential options are:
Prepare the leather first
Don’t drink the wine
Example:
Sit with Jose
(Stay and eat)
Prepare the leather first
Don’t drink the wine
Ending 10:2 – “Execution”
This will result from choosing to “Open the envelope first” or from choosing to “Go outside” on any route other than Evan’s.

Pick the lower lot
Open the envelope first

Ending 10:1 – “Crippled”
This is just choosing “Don’t drink the wine” on Durer’s route/the route to ending 8 so the only essential options are:
Prepare the leather first
Don’t drink the wine
Example:
Sit with Jose
(Stay and eat)
Prepare the leather first
Don’t drink the wine
Ending 10:2 – “Execution”
This will result from choosing to “Open the envelope first” or from choosing to “Go outside” on any route other than Evan’s.
Example:
Don’t sit with Jose
Prepare the tools first
Pick the lower lot
Open the envelope first
Decision Trees
I have divided pretty much all the routes in the game into three main routes, each route is then subdivided into three parts (these parts are not named but organised from 1st to 3rd from left to right):
Route 1 – Don’t sit with Jose, Prepare the tools first
Route 2 – Sit with Jose, (Stay and eat), Prepare the tools first
Route 3 – Sit with Jose, Find something else to do, Wash clothes, Prepare the tools first
Route 1 – Don’t sit with Jose, Prepare the tools first
Route 2 – Sit with Jose, (Stay and eat), Prepare the tools first
Route 3 – Sit with Jose, Find something else to do, Wash clothes, Prepare the tools first
- The “Sit with Jose, Find something else to do, Have a smoke” route is exactly the same as Route 2.
- In the decision trees, I haven’t shown the “Prepare the leather first” choice because it always leads to the “Drink the wine” or “Don’t drink the wine” choices which lead to endings 8 and 10:1 respectively.
- I organised the groups of endings into “sets” to avoid too much repetition.
- The sets are in bold black, the bad endings are in bold red and the good endings (including Ending 2) are in bold blue.
Under some choices is just a downward arrow. This signifies that the options and endings which result from picking that choice are exactly the same as those which result from picking the next choice in the first (leftmost) part of the route. In Route 1, this identicalness is only up to a point, as is illustrated by the small number of choices and endings at the bottom of the arrow i.e. choosing the upper lot and then choosing to go left will give you the same options and endings as choosing the lower lot up to the option of the cell or medical room where you’ll get endings different to those on the first part of the route depending on which (cell or medical room) you choose. In Routes 2 and 3, the arrow signifies that the options and endings are exactly the same all the way down i.e. in Route 2, if you choose “open the box first, rest, smoke, stay in your cell” the following options and endings will be exactly the same as if you chose “stay in your cell” in the first part of the route i.e. if you chose “open the box first, have fun, stay in your cell”.
The Evan and Lusca routes may not always get mixed up with the Shion route as in the 2nd and 3rd parts of Route 3 in which case choosing the “Rest” option will lead to the exact same choices and endings as choosing “Rest” on Route 2.
Some of Jose’s romantic scenes can get included in the routes to endings 1, 4, 5 and 7 if you choose to wait in your cell, bring Io to his cell and then go to the courtyard. The Vallewida route skips the last Vallewida scene if you get the Jose scenes included though.
There is no “Cell or medical room” option and so no possible Jose romance scenes on the Shion route.
The Shion/Evan route (the 2nd part of Route 3) doesn’t show the last Shion sex scene unlike the Shion/Lusca route (the 3rd part of Route 3).
One of the rarer scenes, the Belbet haircut scene, occurs if you choose to have fun on the Evan/Lusca path. Otherwise, you meet Belbet in the library post-haircut or meet Shion.
